Questions we're asked before most bookings

Which areas do you travel to?
We're based in Accord, NY and travel throughout the Hudson Valley, Albany and the Capital Region, the Catskills, and western Connecticut, with a second studio in Brooklyn. There is no travel surcharge within those areas.
How long does a corporate headshot session take per person?
Between five and ten minutes each once we're set up. Setup itself takes roughly forty-five minutes. A team of thirty typically fits comfortably into a half day.
Do you come to our office, or do we come to you?
Either. The mobile studio travels to your office, and we only need a space roughly ten by twelve feet with access to power. Sessions can also be shot at our studio in Accord or in Brooklyn.
How soon do we get the photographs?
Turnaround is usually a few business days for retouched selects. Full-resolution files are delivered through a private online gallery that stays available for download for up to 90 days.
What retouching is included?
A light pass: skin blemish removal, stray hairs, colour and contrast tuning. We deliberately keep people looking like themselves — heavier work is available on request but it's rarely what a headshot needs.
What should we wear?
Solid colours photograph better than busy patterns, and mid-tones sit well against most backgrounds. We send a short wardrobe guide before every session that you can forward to your whole team.
Can you match headshots we already have?
Usually, yes. If you have an existing style — a particular background colour, crop or lighting look — send examples and we'll match new hires to the set so the directory stays consistent.
Do you photograph actors as well as corporate teams?
Yes. Actor and performer headshots are a regular part of the work, shot in commercial and theatrical looks and delivered in the crops and file sizes casting platforms require.
What does a session cost?
Pricing depends on headcount, location and how many looks you need, so we quote each job individually. Send us the details through the contact form and you'll usually have a quote back the same day.
Do you teach photography as well?
Yes — group workshops and private instruction in studio lighting, Capture One tethered capture and Photoshop retouching, at your facility, on campus, or one to one.
