Headshot and branding photographer in the Catskills
The Catskills run on hospitality, craft and independent business, and the photography those businesses need looks different from a corporate directory. Most of what we shoot here is branding work with portraits inside it.

Location work, on purpose
An inn, a restaurant, a studio pottery or a guiding outfit doesn't want a portrait on seamless paper — the room, the workshop and the landscape are the point. We shoot these as small productions: a portrait pass, an environmental pass, and a detail pass that fills out a website and a season of social in a single visit.
We work throughout Woodstock, Phoenicia, Tannersville, Hunter, Windham, Margaretville, Andes, Delhi, Livingston Manor, Roscoe, Callicoon and Big Indian, across Greene, Delaware, Sullivan and western Ulster counties.

Who books us in the Catskills
Hotels, inns and short-term rental operators, restaurants and food producers, breweries and distilleries, furniture makers and ceramicists, wellness practitioners and retreat centres, real estate agents, and the substantial population of remote executives, writers and consultants who work from here and need a portrait that doesn't look like it was cropped from a wedding.
Seasonality matters more here than anywhere else we work. Booking a branding shoot for late September through mid-October gets you imagery that sells the region back to itself; booking in March generally does not. If you're planning a website launch, we'll usually suggest shooting a season ahead of it.
Woodstock and Phoenicia are a straight thirty-minute drive from the studio in Accord. There's no travel charge anywhere in the Catskills.
