Headshot and portrait photographer in the Hudson Valley, NY
We're based in Accord, in the heart of Ulster County, which means most of the Hudson Valley is a short drive rather than a day trip. There's no travel charge anywhere in the region.

A local studio, not a visiting one
Plenty of headshot photographers list the Hudson Valley as a service area and drive up from the city when a booking justifies it. We live here. The studio is in Accord, ten minutes from Kerhonkson and twenty-five from Kingston, which changes what's practical: a scouting visit before a branding shoot, a reshoot for the two people who were out sick, an early call time that doesn't depend on the Thruway.
Regular work takes us to Kingston, Poughkeepsie, New Paltz, Beacon, Rhinebeck, Newburgh, Hudson, Saugerties, Red Hook, Fishkill, Middletown, Woodstock and Highland, and across Ulster, Dutchess, Orange, Columbia and Greene counties.

Who books us in the valley
The client mix here is specific to the region: hospitality and tourism businesses that need seasonal imagery, wineries, distilleries and farm operations, health systems and private practices, law firms in Kingston and Poughkeepsie, colleges including SUNY New Paltz and Marist, architecture and design studios, and the steady stream of creative professionals and founders who moved up from the city and still need to look like they have a New York practice.
Sessions run either at your location with the mobile studio, or at our space in Accord. Outdoor work is genuinely worth considering here — the Shawangunk ridge, the rail trail and the Rondout waterfront in Kingston all photograph beautifully and give a portrait a sense of place that a grey backdrop can't.
